Rainbow Geometric Shape Sorter
Shaping up! Babies' visual processing begins in two key areas - shapes and colours. Sorting shapes is a great way to foster better coordination and develop thinking skills. This geometric shape sorter will suit your little ones (12 months onward) as they transition from babies to toddlers.
Between 15 - 24 months old, young children will start identifying shapes and colours. Each set of shapes comes in a single colour, which also helps toddlers in identifying the primary colours. Having to pick the shapes up to place them in their respective rods through the holes also promotes fine motor skills of your little ones, as well as allowing them to practise their hand-eye coordination.
Parents can encourage toddlers (2 years old onward) in building objects out of the blocks. This activity can stimulate your toddlers' motor and mental development. Playing with blocks help children develop their vocabularies, improves math skills, and even teaches them about gravity, balance, and geometry. They will learn how to describe colors, shapes, sizes and positions as they build various structures.
Every set includes a slip of instructions and tips on how to integrate learning into play as your little one progresses in age and milestones.
